Carbon might look bling, but its expensive and not always lighter. Carbon doesn't like taking knocks either and it breaks rather than bends when its tired. A Thomson seatpost is always a nice upgrade but its not a whole lot lighter than your Race Face Evolve.

HA Ha. No. It is small on the picture (on the middle ring between the numbers 15 & 9). You will notice it on the ring itself.

Check out the little arrow on the middle and inner rings - they gotta line up with the crank arm. The big ring has a pin on the outside - that is also inline with the arm.

Do worn chainrings wear out or damage a chain like worn cassettes do?

Black, grey and white is pretty bland. The red does give it a bit more character. Looks like they are giving DA 7900 another chance.
