  1. Thanks Bogus Bike looks amazing! Would recommend him to anyone
  2. Also on the cheap Diadoras atm to use on my indoor trainer. Same issues with hot spots
  3. Also don't like the fact that they replaced the Stan's hubs with XT And the colour scheme is not on...
  4. Have been waiting for my frame for ages. Almost 7 weeks to be exact... But it should be worth it
  5. How long did it take from sending the frame to him to receiving it again?
  6. I find it surprising that Sauser beat Kulhavy, after obviously being the weaker partner in the Epic. And I'm pretty sure Lakata also weighs around 75+kg
  7. Agree with you on the winning pedigree, was just comparing the price. I would still rather get an Epic, but I guess this gives one more options with the possibility of putting a 140mm fork on, making it more of an all-rounder
  8. Great looking bike. It's expensive, but what do S-Works go for nowadays? And you could probably bring down the price with your own build kit.
  9. I know Big Red Barn has rentals on weekends, but there aren't any animals... Think Groenkloof does rentals, I believe they are in partnership with Specialized, but have no idea if that is still going on.
  10. "There were a lot of thorns, so my advice to riders would be to fill the stance levels in their mountain bike tyres" I am assuming he means Stan's?
  11. He's probably referring to the softails you used to get which relied on the frame flexing as a form of suspension. And I think the bike looks great!
  12. I know a guy who has done this, might be the one you saw on Instagram, but it's a hardtail naked aluminium Pyga, not a 110 or any of the longer travel bikes. Looks great and it seems to handle great too.
  13. No Wonder Platt can't win the Epic, his bike must weigh a ton compared to the Specialized bikes with the 1x11.
  14. I remember reading a while back that Annika won the world marathon champs on an Era prototype and they both won the Swiss Epic on Era's. Definitely on Era's, maybe that's why they are annihilating the competition so far.
  15. I see a lot of guys doing this now. Leaving the steerer uncut. Seems to be the new in thing
  16. I've just pumped my tyres up to about 1.8 front and rear (tubeless) and they are super hard... Racing Ralph 2.1 EVO. Can't think they should be this hard? I weigh 86kg
