  1. My name is down for the bike

There is a large Demo 29'er Ali ... the stanchions are scratched though ... so will have to see what it looks like ... bike will be available when the last new bike is sold .... it is a XL one ... so someone please go and buy this XL bike

Do you know what they are asking for said XL bike?

  2. Following on from my previous post, I realise pics are way more useful! Below are items I have available if anyone wants them (includes a old wired bike computer, bars, water bottle cages, pedals, grips, small ladies gloves, shoes). It's for collection only (Cape Town). PM me if you're interested in anything - the ultimate preference would be for someone to take it all...

And then to add, I have a bicycle that needs some TLC but is still in decent condition. It's a 26er Trek 4300 (16"). Again, for collection only (first come first served for this one)

Looks like everything is spoken for...

  3. I have a box of things I am looking to offload if anyone wants it. Saddles, avid v brakes (no levers), riser bar (680 wide), bottle cages, shoes (sizes 11 and 12),grips and one or two other things. Most things are in OK condition. I'll take pics if there is any interest

  4. I'm currently in the active process of going through the express entry route. Have an open offer for a job in Vancouver which I will try leverage. The costs of the express entry route are pretty brutal, nevermind the pending expense of living in a city like Vancouver! But I think it will be a worthwhile experience and opportunity. I will update on my process as I go along

  5. I use the Fox Launch Enduro knee pads. They've served me well and the protection they offer is reasonable. They're solid for slide outs but in rocks they don't offer great protection, although it's better than nothing! Despite the abuse I have put them through, I still have not had any construction failures which is a plus. They are however pretty warm for a long-ish day in the saddle, but I've never found them to be unbearable.
