Situation 2 would never work there is way to much invested into these tours by not only the riders (whom i'm sure the riders couldn't care about), you can't just pull the race! I say we just let them race... if they kill themselves ODing then thats there problem

What a K@k day on the bike... Lessons learn't: When you strain your calve go get it looked at (Immediately) not one week before the Jock. When people look at you weird when you say you are riding with a strained calve maybe you should ask yourself why you are here!!! You other leg gets very tired if you do not to use your strained calve!! I really need to start training more!!! IanJ can go up the Pyrenees quicker then i can go up boulders with a strained calve... In future... don't ride SA's hardest race with a strained calve I'll be back next year!!! P.S thanks to wonder women for getting me to the end...
