  1. How many serious incidents and deaths were there this year? Very little news in that regard.
  2. North Korea stands a great chance as an alternate venue: zero cases. officially
  3. and pop went unit 1, hello stage 4. omfs.
  4. Binged this. Much much better than the recent 3-episode BBC adaptation. Good hear a season 2 is on the cards, because that S01 ending needs serious work
  5. oh boy, you are in for a treat. It's Ms Smulderinghot in a way you don't expect
  6. oh shoosh. was looking for the response from the cement-eaters.. Kidding aside, i hear you
  7. hmm, was just about to ask.. if you are recovering frmo bronchitis the last of the low grade fevers that stopped say Friday night, and your last two antibios are to be taken on race day, would you ride tomorrow?
  8. Anyone watching Stumptown? https://youtu.be/HwynrxEPSQk It's one of those shows that may be a serial private investigator story, which are dime a dozen, but I feel the characters make it so worthwhile, easy, enjoyable viewing. Superb soundtrack, pretty much one of the better supporting actors.
  9. which website is that data from: weather forecasts from overseas based weather apps have recently been off by between 4-5 deg C, that is, it's been warmer by that difference consistently ni the citybowl relative to the forecasts. There was an article in teh enws about it. Apparently SAWS has the most accurate local forecasts, but no convenient (app based) way of accessing it.
  10. This was short, but some enjoyable easy viewing.
  11. oh yes, the drama llamas are back..!
  12. Das Boot is totally engrossing viewing. Quite a departure from the movie of the same name, which was superb in its own right. The series however has a Richer, more engrossing period and character development. It's well worth watching.
  13. I think i'm interested in Westworld again: this looks great! https://youtu.be/pDJbFA32_QY
  14. stage 2 starting again from 9am today till Saturday (at least) <_< my f*k
  15. this is exactly what i think is knocking around in some heads following WRC. There's also Rabada
  16. i reckon he was pushed to jump. Easier to phrase the narrative that way. Humility all round. As for the next test captain, no Bavuma option to grow into the role with QdK as VC?
  17. Well, there's my answer: only took 12 days...
  18. Either he knocks the other fighter out (if there's a round or few left), or he accepts the fact that for the previous 3 rounds, he was outclassed. i don't understand the hardship here.
  19. Thanks. i have checked them. very little range and variety. Some odd shank sizes, odd relative to imperial-sized router collets.
  20. Homeland season 8 anyone? first ep just dropped. Last season of the show. i expect fireworks. https://youtu.be/-eLT82JYsP4
  21. We are the Wave was damned good too! euroland is spoiling us with really interesting series! It's well set up for a follow-on season.
  22. i'll make a turn by HWC. but Toolcraft, nix or not much Didn't want to go overseas, but it seems unavoidable. Infinity cutting tools is top of the list.
  23. sources on buying spiral bits in ZA? UC, UD, compression, and in 'standard' router sizes like 1/4" and 1/2" as opposed to CNC sizes?
  24. question is: did he walk, or was he pushed...
  25. I'm on Ep 2, and it's superb thus far! edit: finished, it was amazeballs. Makes me want to move to norway and hook up with a norse goddess.. cool soundtrack, beautiful cinematography, but such a great story. Norse mythology wrapped up in contemporary global issues makes for very interesting viewing. Stoked to have been spoilt rotten with recent foreign lingo films, mostly out of the nordic nations. Jordskott, Wisting and now Ragnarok. The german series have also been excellent viewing. Starting We Are the Wave soon!
