    Yes I have sliding doors made of wood and glass. Did anyone notice my chamois cream on the table? No cyclist can survive without it :-)

    I did do an FTP test, but I use an IDT for hard trainig sessions (110% upwards...like gorby workout) twice a week and for easy rides I hit the road.I guess thats the reason its called a paincave.

    I am using Zwift but I am not sure if I am getting all the benefits because the workouts are so hard I always close my eyes for the duration of the workout. Maybe an offline IDT software might do the same job for me as well.

    Ok I get it now. However the average speed on strava remains unchanged which then differs from racetec.

    I started in AL, at 36km I got dropped, tried working with two other gentlemen for a while but we werent strong enough to catch the bunch. At 60km I was caught by a second AL group (twas dropped earlier). At 80km I got a flat front tyre.At 84km another flat tyre on the back wheel. My Garmin shows 2:40 (set to pause when I stop) but on strava it is 3:17 which is the same time as the time on Racetec. Does strava ignore pauses on workouts when getting data from Garmin?

    Rain can be funny at times...it might open up for the first 50 - 60km then bam it pours heavily and you have nowhere to hide . I have already paid, and so I am just bracing myself for any conditions.

    I also have interest in this topic as my carbon wheels aren't straight after going through a few potholes during the Tshwane Classic race. Where in Pretoria /Jhb can I take them to?

    I might have to look at buying the new portable rollers as I currently have a kickR and I find it to be too big to carry it to races as if I am a Pro ????

    For me this was the most difficult. I did 2:54 for Macsteel and 2:39 for Tshwane and I expected to get a sub-3 but I was 5min short. One of the things I think might have affected me was a lack of warmup coz for the other races I always had 15-30 min warmup b4 the race, there was no chance to warmup here because I was aiming to start far forward in the cue. Next year I should will do few races without warming up just to get used to it maybe that will help for 947.

    Didn't reach my sub-3 target. not sure where it all went wrong because I had put enough training hours and prior races were good. Ohh well, we will try again next year..I was highly disappointed and angry last night. I will take a long break and start again in Jan, hopefully sub-3 will come.

    I tried reseeding today, the queue was short but when I had to be assisted I was told that groups A to C are full .

    I bought two of my 5 bikes from them. The other 3 bikes had to be returned to the sellers for minor tweaks but not the Hot Spot bikes...Excellent service always.

    Great route, awesome Marshalls, and the overall vibe was very good. I must say that of all the races I have done thus far, only 947 is a better race than Tshwane Classic. Well done to AGS for doing such an incredible job on the very first Pretoria roads closure race, it can only get better from here, looking forward to many more years of Tshwane classic!
