Not much into name brands but i wont knowingly buy fake, i will buy replica if its stated as such.

There used to be a guy on the HUB selling Specialized knock off kit.

IMO if you going to sell replica, at least state it as such and don't try sell it as original but at a discount price.

I have four extra tickets for Robbie Knievel (son of Evil Knievel) who will be flying into South Africa so as to stage a Event at the Ellis Park Grounds next weekend, if anybody wants them. Robbie is going to try to jump over 10,000 Malema supporters with a Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer.

Route is easy to follow, we ride from the car park Northern entrance, almost kill ourselves up the 1st 2 odd km climb on cold legs, left at the top then follow the signs around the route. After the last big climb, some riders ignore the 1 way sign and take a short cut down to the car park.

Who can forget the moans at SA champs a few years back where the younger vets cats complained when he wanted to drop down and race in their cat. Tough luck to Bruce Diesel on crashing, used to be a regular here on the Hub.

I think they meet at 6am at BikeScene, i'll join one weekend for a MTB ride.

Cyclelab Boksburg have also started weekend rides not sure of start time or level.

Road or MTB MTB there are rides from Finish Line KP on Sat 45-50km (easy to mod) Road Sat there is a group that leaves at 5.30am from Ridge shopping center (mod) Road Sun from Tour de Frans Boksburg (not sure of time but inquire at shop)($#%%% fast) Sunward wheelers and Fit Shack clubs also have weekend rides. (various levels) Springs wheelers also have weekend rides. (????)

I don't doubt he was sincere and stated that because he believes it and not because he was paid, but its his opinion, i still enjoy my 26".

Randburg there's Cyclelab and Linden cycles that have stock that iv'e seen. Westdene cycles, Mikes Bikes are also in the area but iv'e not been there for a while. Best is to phone the shops before to find out if they have the brand and size you looking for otherwise it turn out to be just a window shopping exercise.

Between the 2, Trek but there are other options.

I rode past the KP one yesterday, saw a group of riders in blue and white kit standing around, at first i thought they were fixing a flat but found it odd that an ambulance would have stopped to help.
