  1. I've done 3 and as other's mentioned if you can do 21km you should not have a problem and finish well within the cut off time.
  2. Previous years this issue came up, future years i fear the same.
  3. Why not take this up with Simon Nash.
  4. I did a 70km ride on my 26" on Sat and thoroughly enjoyed it but will also not give up my 29".
  5. Better do it before exploding BoB sees it
  6. There are a number of posts and polls on this, do a search on "26 vs 29" in search box at the top.
  7. Good bike, good price, now ride and enjoy it
  8. No and there is no cell coverage in parts but then its max 10 min journey.
  9. I ride the Rhodesfield to Sandton route daily and during peak periods there is simply no place to fit a bicycle, even adding an extra carriage will not suffice. Suggestion would be maybe to allow them in off peak periods.
  10. The moment you action an EFT for payment same day it will deduct the amount immediately and hold it as held funds and the amount available will be less than the EFT. With EFT the recipient will only get their funds the next day unless they use the same bank as you in which case it will reflect immediate.
  11. Dead cert the SMS was sent by the scammer to make it appear as if it was from the bank. As mentioned above but bit late now is to actually check your account and ensure the amount reflects as available balance.
  12. I had the privilege of him being a guest at my gazebo at the Heidelberg 6hr race Was so embarrassed when i found i forgot my gazebo top at home
  13. Date would be nice, due to the time posted I'm assuming its not today.
  14. .
  15. None really, depends on what you want during your ride eg mapping or not. Once you off the bike the data is same when downloaded.
  16. Cable stretch Wait till JB sees this
  17. Epic mod fail on thread combination.
  18. Doubt it, sure there is a market for selected bikes but for the most part they could not care less if your bike is PnP or Pinarello. The Carte Blanche episode the bikes were recovered days later still being ridden by the bike jackers. Most part we are easy targets for items such as cell phones and wallet's.
  19. You asked for it Mmmm Stans No Tubes vs Oliver Yes Tubes
  20. The latest Tread mag had an article where they compared bryton and garmin.
  21. 9 bars front and back, 105kg
  22. Its mainly for pinch flats i'm concerned about. Striking a rock at low pressure will increase the chance. I also use slime tubes and tire liners, overkill perhaps but in my 5/6 years MTB i have only had 1 puncture and that was when i replaced my tire without fitting the liner.
  23. I run tubed at 2.5 front and 2.8 rear on my 26" for most MTB races (max pressure indicated on tire 4.5) I find its a balance between traction which less will give you and greater puncture resistance which more will give you.
  24. So he is
