Yip as I said, Nadal was the man I had my money on before the game even started. I am personally not the biggest Nadal fan but he is simply is king at Rolland Garos. Of his 20 grand slam titles, 13 are at Rolland Garros. That is 65% on clay. I quite like the commentry we get here in Germany on Europsport which is none other than Borris Becker. As he said, Nadal plays in his own world and only he knows how to play in his world. No-one else knows. Djoko was not playing bad at all. As Borris said, Djoko still managed to return on Nadals server where nobody else in the tournament really managed that. The scoreboard also did not reflect Djokos effort. But Nadal just upped his game where nobody could challange him. I mean only 4 unforced errors towards the end of the second set for Nadal in two sets. It was absolute brilliant tennis and I just sat in amazement last night watching.

So far I think this is one of the better Rolland Garos tournaments I've seen. Lots of young talent comming through. Some excellent tennis the last two weeks. This Polish girl was just something else. Not loosing a single set in this tournament. Think tomorrow Nadal is going to win dramatically but hoping that Djoko puts up a good fight.

I have DTSwiss hubs on my road bike which was quite loud in my opinion but never used to bother me too much. My dogs liked it as they could here me comming home from a mile away. Also was usefull on our cycleways when I approached slower traffic. I would just stop peddaling and then people would move out of the way. But about 3 months ago I pulled off the freebody by accident and used the time to clean out the hub and inspect its inner workings. When putting all back I did not have the normal special DTSwiss freehub grease so I just put normal grease in there which is considerably thicker. I just put very little on and distributed it with a little brush. My hubs are so much more silent. I actually like hearing more of nature now.

It is actually not the long way around. It is taking the shortest route actually. That aircraft is on his way to San Fransisco which as you know is on the West coast of the states. So if you take a globe and draw the shortest line from Dehli to the West coast of North America, you would actually draw it straight over the North Pole or past that on the other side of Europe. This now needs to be plotted on a flat map and that makes it look like a hell of a detour but it is not. The same for the Quantas flight from Sydney do Joburg. It actually flies over the South pole and approaches SA anything between PE and Richards bay to Joburg. Finally got to go out on the bike with the restored back wheel. Lovely day yesterday but cool at 14 degrees or so. You could sense there was some snow involved somewhere among all the rain we had the last couple of days. And there is the snow we feel in the air. Quite a good coating on the Alps for this time of the year Road from Bat Tölz is under construction so there is virtually no traffic on it. The whole road to myself.

I bought a nice rain jacket soon after comming to Germany but found that it is a waiste of time. I ended up sweating so much under it that I was soaked in anyway. So use it more as a wind chill protector. I ended up to only have a good cover for my packpack that everything in there stayed dry.
