  1. Interesting take on James sometimes https://youtu.be/HhQBA4dR4l0
  2. Very....I think we have a record debut time.... Depending on the course ...19.5 times round st James park could be very monotonous
  3. I see Kiprui Cheptegai is making his debut
  4. I think the lack of crowds will make a big difference. I don't know why the can't have socially distanced crowd support
  5. Some of these are brilliant... These two especially
  6. Was your bike beamed down?
  7. I've been trying to move away from Asics for ages. I went to Brookes ghost and had a terrible experience with them for distances over 15km...BUT.. They were brilliant. I decided now during this quite period to give Brookes a go again, but went for the lighter ravannas and have been very happy with them. I've run up to a 14 mile run with them and they've been great. Based on that I have now ordered the adrenalines which should be better for longer distances. My gripe with Asics and the model I run with (gt2000) is they have not progressed at all in the 6 years or so I've been running with them. They have this hard plastic underneath them as their support structure and they are heavy. The Brookes adopt a more modern side rail support that are less intrusive for very slight pronators like myself
  8. She's a Cork girl. Got bullied at school because she used to busk in the city..I kid you not! Teenage girls after brutal. She's the one laughing at them now. Some of those comments there are really cringe though considering she's 15 years old
  9. The ghosts I had were lovely. I have tried the ravannas now for about 100miles and they are a lovely shoe. Light and comfortable. Perfect for up 21km. Now I have bought the adrenalines for longer distances
  10. After three incredible first albums it was going to be impossible to live up to those and they started to sound like the us version of Coldplay... But damn.. They are amazing live
  11. I've gone and entered the gap of dunloe marathon in the middle of winter... Gonna be beautiful but a toughie

  17. Longest training week I've ever done is about 110km and that was before comrades. Marathon training now I'll do about 4 to 6 solid weeks between 50 to 55 miles.. But that's it.... Guess that's why I don't have a sub 3!
  18. Great read https://www.newframe.com/josia-thugwanes-golden-marathon/
  19. Dude had a tough life..... Already had a fragile brain and too much LSD just fried it
  20. Question for those in the know....I have a basic breville, which one had for the past 5 years. It started tripping the plugs the other day.... Which googling seems to point to a thermostat. Worth repairing? Or time to replace?
  21. Just reading his story there.. pretty hectic...I know he said he retrospectively should have gone to hospital... But if I'm peeing and coughing up blood...I go to see an expert ASAP! Edit.. Further see there's a fund me to raise money for medical bills... Just shows how pathetic American medical insurance is ... He probably didn't go to hospital because he wasn't covered
  22. I was indeed the impression that supersport was basically the backbone of super rugby....no?
  23. I stopped watching super rugby when they introduced that stupid country pool system.
  24. I'm seeing a lot of youths unfortunately littering nowdays... Seems education is not working when it comes to litter
