TriFun i guess it depends how good a deal you are getting, but if i got an option on a bike that wouldnt work for me, that i KNEW was a great deal and i wouldnt be stepping on the sellers toes by selling it for a bit more, then it is a no-brainer. You are correct money is tight, all the more reason to wheel and deal a bit.

  8. and i commute 18km one way, and it really is awesome, i am glad that we have showers here, but even if we didnt i dont think that would stop me. amped for summer. and plan to get a road bike again next year. amping for white shoes and a long fast ride on the way home

  10. yep , you feel it bad, i cannot believe that 500mls is so NB. weird thing is that it is not consistent for me, sometimes i feel way worse and others not so bad, but i deff feel it each time. just out of interests sake, what was your iron level, mine is normally between 16 and 17

  14. Smolster, apparently very little, kinda like just taking the edge off, he said the guy at the bike shop was done in like 5 minutes.
  15. a mate of mine had the exact same problem, when he went from 160mm rotors to 180mm. the solution was to sand down the brake pad slightly.

  22. i think you are going to have to replace both. i snapped a chain a while ago. i was staying in town close to the mountain and i was cruizing around on my old piece of crap, and there was this little hill, and i mashed the gears up the hill, chain snapped at the worst possible moment, crushed my nuts on the top tube......stood there in agony on the side of a busy road feeling my nuts for blood....funny memory.....i hated that bike and it hated me.
  23. i nuke myself with echinaforce and calcivita/corensa c i end up taking like 3000mg of vit c during the day and 40 drops of echina force 3 times daily. Sorts me out generally.
