  1. Was a tough post to "like", should've clicked the "agree" icon but could not find it. I'm in engineering, specifically pumps and piping so no need to explain it to me.
  2. Told the missus that I'd much rather pay for the relocation fees & paperwork for moving <anywhere but here> than buying a generator. Not the lack of electricity that scares me that much. What happens when the water infrastructure falls over?!? Civil war stuff if you ask me.
  3. http://www.thesportsbasement.co.za/images/detailed/1/rhythm.jpg Get a pair of these from the Sportsbasement. They were on special the last time I was there. Recall something along the lines of R1200 or thereabouts. Understatedly bling as things should be.
  4. Sand Pebbles & Harleys in Durban?
  5. Sick dude over heres. Should make it a vote enabled site. Easier for us sick buggers EDIT: Not "sick" as in "gnarly, bru" but sick as in <cough><cough>
  6. Eina bliksem! Bly jy is darem OK. Moet jouself nou maar Pers_seun noem.
  7. ...maybe Whack Off Wednesday for tomorrow's master debate?
  8. I care what he think did! You opinion is a zero for us!
  9. Funny guy! I was being serious dammit
  10. I've passed plenty a Porsche Cayenne with my Suzuki SX4... Would I much rather drive a Porsche than the Suzuki (if I could afford it)? Guess you already know the answer to that one...
  11. ...until next time, take care of yourselves... And each other.
  12. Seems to have worked for this guy to an extent. http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120511112335/batman/images/f/f0/Bane_TDKR3.jpg
  13. Cant speak for anybody else but no. Not me. Would have to go along way to offend me. Do not get offended easily (or at all for that matter).
  14. Dutchie from Durban originally. Speak die Taal with a bit of an English accent. We used to get donnerd as lighties when speaking Afrikaans so pretty much stuck to English outside school and home. At varsity one of my ex's from die platteland old lady remarked that I speak pretty decent Afrikaans for a soutie. I was like ja well, being Afrikaans I've only been doing it for the last 20 years or so.... Was pretty much close to the end of the relationship...
  15. Reminds me of the Oom. He always mentioned Die Wielnaaf when referring to the Hub. I are Dutchie.
  16. Did not cycle today but was at the finish when it happened. Very emotional and upsetting scenes. Condolences to his family, you brianj and all his friends.
  17. Much appreciated. Googled the local agents. Looks like it is the Swatch Group in Sandown. If you have a contact person that would be great. Look at the new generation DeVille's... I want! at 265k Euro's not cheap though... http://www.omegawatches.com/fileadmin/templates/images/img_product_presentation/tourbillon/pp_specialities_tourbillon_soldat.jpg http://www.omegawatches.com/fileadmin/templates/images/img_product_presentation/tourbillon/pp_specialities_tourbillon_detail.jpg
  18. Same story here. I have my old man's Seamaster DeVille would like to get it restored. Who to/where did you take the watch?
  19. If only I bought the correct lotto numbers 2 weeks ago I would not be in the office at 05h30.
