  2. I see some pain-caves with no fans , then you are holding back guys .............
  3. This thread is turning in to the "e-bike in the mountains" saga..............
  4. i just cannot do the shipping thing(read lazy)..... do you need it a.s.a.p? Might be able to get a lift to somewhere in Cape Town (friend has a transport company)
  5. Maybe its time to auction my Cyclo Ops Fluid 2 IDT off.....anybody in PE looking for one??

  7. Just WOW....!!! I battle to take pics under normal conditions , not to mention with one hand on the sticks, you are a real inspitation for us all WELDONE !!!!
  8. I was on holiday and manage to keep the weight reasonable..... 2 weeks of the bike, and also sitting with a back issue. Googling every possible stretch regime etc etc.........The "bad" part of getting thinner is the clothes that needs to be replaced. Hope the savings on the junk food will come in handy there ?!?! Keep on fighting guys !!!
  9. I am also following this....i think my biggest problem is feeling sorry for myself....
  10. At the OP it seems if you are quite strong on the bike to move it without the "motor" , why not just carry on as if the "motor" is working. Imagine after a year how strong you could be??
  11. Same on this side i think it started last week, i was just dog tired the whole week and this morning BOOM !! It sure does help for weight loss !!!
  12. I have being cycling for a good couple of years but after 2013 i kind of lost interest due to health problems but i did cycle fairly regularly. On dr's orders i stopped completely half way in 2017. Got the problem fixed and started cycling end of 2018 again, joined up with a coach in Jan 2019, had some issues with the coach which is sorted now. I think some problems where with my FTP indoors vs Outdoors because when i went out doors i nearly died after every ride, hilly routes etc. The indoor sessions was much more manageable. The new coach sends me on more out side rides where i think i have picked up on my fitness levels. To get the real deal i presume?? Slowly but surely getting there but sometimes it is frustrating !!! Hence my questions...........
  13. How can i get "faster" on the bike during races ? Dont know it this fits in this thread but seeing i am over 50 maybe it does. I did the PE2Plett Lite and for me it was really not Lite!!! I have been training for a year now solid ( with a coach) , and i just survived out there. If i look at the other so called weekend warriors i am actually shy to say i trained for so long...........i even lost 5kg in the process leading up to the event. I actually said to my wife i was always under the impression that i am quit "tough" but FM after an event like this i really doubt my "toughness"...........
  14. Ok i am late to give some feedback , but i have Karmi's mums cell number. Slowbee can we take it from there? I will PM you her number.
  15. I will see if i can get any info, will ask my daughter to maybe go past their house....
  16. Ai this is so sad. RIP Nicole. I also had a few nice chats with her, my daughter delivered her some flowers and stuff to say thank you from the hub for all she had done for the little one....
  17. Don't Camelbak come with a life time guarantee?

    RIFLE

If you really want to go for bigger game with a 270 consider Monolithic, important is shot placement , Google Kriek Bullets , i use them in my .223 Win and are very happy with the results, going to use them in my .270 this coming hunting season.....NO MEAT DAMAGE , BUT shot placement very important....you can easily down a Eland with them.
  21. Maybe have a look at gun shops as well. I think the Gun shops might be more robust and or durable. Safari Outdoor , 24/7 Hunter etc etc
