  1. Fathers day i hit 99 and then all down hill.............life is sometimes not fair, training harder and eating more!!!

  3. I read all over Hubland of hubbers using Trainingpeaks. Now my scenario is as follows, My coach loads the workouts on TP, i then export it via Trainer Roads Workout Creator and add them to my TR calender which sync with the TR app where i do the workout in.....(man this is a mouthfull!!!). The finished workout gets synced with TP again. Is there a way of doing the workout directly in TP, and not using TR at all. I am paying for TR and TP (coach's orders to get full package). Please any help or ideas ??
  4. When i did my FPT on Trainer Road , the trainer goes into slope mode ,so you cycle at your own pace or wattage output for the duration of the 20 min test.......
  5. Ok my turn....i went out for an "early" 8:30am cycle yesterday and it was beareable for my standards. We started of with a very flat jeep track and then my heart rate spiked to 160 according to my Garmin and stayed there for quite some time. I never felt uneasy or out of breath at any stage. Then we had a nice climb and as soon as we hit the flatter part my HR stayed high. I even stopped and it didnt want to go down at first. Then after a few minutes i started cycling the last stretch with my hear rate "normal" we had coffee turned around and head home with out any of the above "problems". Could this all be the cold weather? I havent been on the bike in this chilly weather for a long time. The temp was maybe 7 -10 deg with a cold wind?

  9. i don't see it getting better in the near future. I was just watching news the other night about the elderly couple, (the lady that worked for the DA) , that was murdered and i thought to myself does the Government official i.e. Cyril and his chronnies ever watch the news or read any news papers?? Are they to busy to steal and loot than to worry what is going on in our Land. I mean where on earth do you get the following advice to rather stay of the roads at night before you become a statistic........REALLY ???
  10. The going is tough , i lost a little bit.......it takes dedication and will power not to raid the pantry. I have started to include off the bike training as well. I am shocked how weak i have became over the years of neglect.........

  15. Ok just a correction .........i see i did not put on any weight , BUT i was lighter during the month (101.5) which i thought i entered on the sheet ...so mixed emotions now, but i am working harder to get there!!! Thanks for the replies
  16. Also not a good month for me i am up to 102,5kg. I am training much harder, looks leaner but the scale tells me otherwise....back to the drawing board for me. I think i have one or two too many cheat meals....
