No sense in jumping to conclusions here. There has been some diffrences between Patrick and Richard, more than that I can not comment. (Simply because I do not know) This has been on the cards for a little while now and is common knowledge in Maritzburg. Patrick is NOT a victim of his own sucess, he built up an amazing company that produces some of the best bikes in the world with the support of an awesome team. Morewood was a partnership, in this case it appears as they were going in diffrent directions and reached a point were it was no longer reconsilable. Very sad, Patrick was the creative genius behind the brand and without him at the helm the brand just wont be the same.

I did SANI this year on my Zula and it handled like a dream. Its a fast XC bike that climbs like a goat and doesn't skip a beat on fast descent's, tricky switch backs or technical single track. I have had a Giant Trance X2 and a Specialized Epic Carbon, they don't even come close to the Zula.

Moved from Specialized Epic Carbon to Morewood, best move I have ever made. Awesome bike running SRAM (My preference over Shimano) Try and take all the bikes you are keen on for a test ride an then make your decision. Good Luck

I am using Maxxis Crossmarks (Front and Back). Great for hardpack and good rolling resistance and thats about it. I used Kenda Excavators before and loved them. I am also in market for some new tyres for Sani2C, considering the Maxxis High Rollers UST.

If you are coming to KZN, why not ditch the road bike for some mountain biking? Giba Gorge is a good option but Karkloof, outside Howick best damn riding in South Africa.

I have a black Fox fork that that doesn't do my new frame any justice. Has anyone every tried this, any advice, what paints to use, clear coat etc.... Apparently peeling is a major issue if you don't use the right paint. Any advice?
