I had the same clicking sound on when I peddled. I checked out everything, lubed everything that should be lubed, lubed things that probably shouldn't be and it kept on clicking. This went on for about a week, until I realised that it was from the cords of the windbreaker I was wearing clanging against the frame.

You're never going to stop people from acting like idiots on a forum (mostly because of the anonymity) - but if a mod closes a thread, he should explain the reason why, and act with consistency. The members soon learn what the limits are, and act accordingly.

A community should regulate itself, and a mod should only step in once it gets out of hand. One of the forums I visit has had a grandtotal of 2 threads closed in 10 years it's been active. It's been so long that nobody even knows who the mods are.
