    Timed to coincide with tourist arrivals in cape town therefore the 16th. Lots of vehicles in and out the last few weeks so I assume they behind with replacing signage and woodwork

    It's really quite annoying that ppa insists on educating cyclists around their rights. The bigger impact Is from the unlawful ignorant motorists. Wtf is educating those idiots???!!!!

    I understand the fear side of it, but its not always the case. Most of the time retailers just don't like the fact the distributor is making a higher percentage than they are. Both models cater for different types of buyer. If I want a Swift badly enough and research it I'd go the direct route. Don't see why I should do all the homework and legwork and the retailer just orders the bike and makes 35-45% for doing nothing.

    Why shouldn't a retailer stock Swift's? Is there some secret code thats being broken? Selling direct doesn't necessarily make sales for a retailer uncompetitive

    Whats the project schedule here? Does TMNP have a plan to co-ordinate the trail network reconstruction as the logging activities cease? marking out trails and preparing the ground, laying foundation, sinking poles to support boardwalk, sourcing clay, delivery etc all takes a lot of time. If there's no plan then likely "open" just means you ride the fireroad and admire the "magnificent desolation" from afar..... till 2017-18

    Giant hardly raised prices over the last three years. So perhaps the other brands have raised prices ahead of the exchange rate dump and thus made more profit in the interim period. Giant now reacted to EX rate dump and the knock on seems harder to swallow

    R6800 for the hubset R1500 for spoes and labour (probably fairly cheap spokes) R5000 for the rims SAPIM triple butted are R35per spoke. lwts say R5 per nipple So R40 per spoke. R40 x 64 = r2560 plus R400 labour so lets call it R3000 R6800 R3000 R5000 R14800 or thereabouts. Still a way off the R17K quoted. Does make it seem a bit steep. HHUb price is actually closer to R9000 but I used prices off bike24.com
