  1. Everyone that is going away.. you must enjoy.. staying at home this holiday season and will enjoy the quiet roads. Lots of cycling planned. Going to USA next year from 23 March till 2 May, so I am happy to stay behind and make sure that JHB lights are on when you all come back after New Year.

  11. Just a suggestion. As there are a various good cycling clubs around, do a bit of research on each club in the area. Also, go for a ride or two with different clubs, see what they are all about. The most important aspect of a club is that you as individual should feel comfortable and at ease there. Good luck with your choice of Cycling Club.

  13. From the bottom of the Hill at the traffic lights to the T junction at the end of Robert Broom where you turn right to go onto the Tarlton/Magaliesburg road, is ?13km. I measured it on Saturday morning

  15. Have anyone used the bus facility from Durban to PMB to the start of the race?
  16. I did 3500km on a single tube without replacing it or fixing a puncture. The tube popped basically at the same time I needed to change tires, so did it all at once.

  21. Michelle, the trip to Magaliesburg from Fourways is ? 80km and it is really easy. Ask anyone that did it on Sunday. If you want, i can mail you our route map and profile that we took on Sunday.
  22. Epoh, I marshalled the D group. We rolled in at 10:40. I was the one handing out the prizes.....
  23. Michelle, I organized a club ride for our Club, CycleLab SuperCycling to Magaliesburg this past Sunday which was just awesome. We were about 100 members that took part in the ride. Had breakfast just outside Magaliesburg and some of cycled back again to CycleLab. The route is scenic, lots of fun and there are plenty places in and around Magaliesburg to have a pit stop.
