    agree with above the new wide mtb rims and new tyre tech negate/replace the need for these things just get good wide rims

    I think they have already made their feelings pretty clear about their relationship to us ...(and everyone else) would be so easy to pedal past and stick a nice difficult to remove decal on their windscreens maybe a fellow huber in the print industry could sponser us for a test period or a few thousand to start up would get our problems in the news #justathought

    its not really about charity we need these type of events to work and so do the less fortunate folk because tourism does contribute in a really big way directly and indirectly to the western cape economy (we don't exactly manufacture or mine down here ) if the tourism and especially these short special events cash injections stopped we would all be in the dwang together in the kaap #just saying

    yeah I agree very dodgy way to advertise this bike - its not some scruffy giant or merida with a 3x9 its a niner with xt and a reba fork if its a real ad its a very nice HT for very little money

    its sacrilege to wear boring socks while out cycling .... and its a safety issue you are much more visible with loud colourful socks spinning around on the sides of your bike ....

    yeah im with carbon29 on this ..... and its only a question of time before the PPA press release that says "after discussions with all stakeholders the PPA supports the governments plans to make cyclists get a licence to ride on the road " etc etc ( yeah now you are laughing but wait......) they claim to represent us but they only represent themselves and us when it furthers their agenda
