    Most high-end Mountain bikes are hand made. Carbon layups and tech add to the cost. Motor bikes are for the most part assembled by robot on a production line thus volume/ labour etc bringing down the costs.

    Maybe a drop of mineral oil on the inner rubber freehub seal and on the bushes.

    Maybe a recovered button for the posters to updated that the bikes were recovered. Maybe it can highlight the posting with a banner saying recovered or alike.

    The owner and insurance company recovered the bike last week from the above FB post. The owner was paidout and now the bike is for sale by salvage.

    Just spoke to him now. He does not have any more stock.

    He has had advertised in the past and has plenty of bike parts.

    Maybe your left side is a litte weaker than your right or is twisting at an angle that is not releasing correctly. If you use SH51 then it is side twist maybe try a SH56 cleat it will release easier. If you are in Gauteng Centurion area i have a new set of SH56 cleats you can have and test.

    Some Colnagos are more desirable than others and sell quickly at the right price. Some are overpriced and sellers think just because it is Colnago they can charge a premium but the bike has no collector value at this point in time.

    I would say it is the same bike. The ergon grips are somthing in common. South Industries wheels.

    He also does some awesome custom builds but those little denim shorts he likes so much are just not working for me😂

    This guy is a wizard when it comes to airbrushing and spraying bike frames.

    Stripping the paint might just leave you with a frame that has an ugly layup and imperfections that are filled with carbon filler. Stripping the UV protection from your frame will decrease the life of the epoxy/ frame.

    This should be enough for you to make enquiries. Cool Heat acknowledging the recall/ inspection/ replacement on there FB page.

    Most website's running with this are saying it is a global recall of 2.8 million cranksets. Don't think Cool Heat will have much say in the matter. They probably won't have stock or will play the original owner/supply your invoice card thats how they roll.

    Would this be just the crank? are the chainring's considered part of the crank? Customer now sits with the unexpected expense of a new chain and cassette to go with that replacement crank.
