  1. You could probably go to any reputable car dealer and get the same. If you go to Ford and buy a car for 100k take it home and slap on new tyres for 10k give it a service for 10k. Will that Ford dealer buy the car back a month later for 120k? I think he might offer you 70k if you lucky.
  2. Ok so it was 1x12 as you never replaced the derailleur. The new kit and a service in my mind don't add 2k value to the bike it is the same 30k 1x12 bike. The extras are value to you but the mudgard would be the first thing i bin if i was the buyer.
  3. So you paid 30k presume secondhand as you had a major service. Added a few extras grips probably most expensive item as it is first on your list. Now you selling at 32k trying to recover your total cash outlay.
  4. Pin? Snap pin? I have 2 Dura-Ace 10speed pins if that's what you are wanting.

  11. The back of Mall@Reds and Manandi are No go area's. Been a few hijacking in the past few month's. Also a few incidents on the road from Valhalla to Swartkops track (Sinkhole road). I see Swartkops has opend up for Cyclists not sure on details but pay a monthly fee and ride the race track.
  12. The force of a tyre seating or poping the bead at 5bar could cause the tyre to jump the the rim wall. I have seen rims will shredded aluminum walls from the explosive forces from a tyre burst.
  13. The tyre should start seating around 1.5 to 2 bar. If you taking it to 5bar and that tyre lets go it could destroy the side wall of the rim.
  14. GT is supposed to be air and watertight. Duct tape is just thin rubbish and yes it will get soggy and not hold air.
  15. If you pull the 25mm tape nice and tight it will fit a 24mm rim with nothing sticking out
  16. Remove the tape that protects the nipple holes. Clean the rim with asetone or thiners. Apply 25mm GT you shouldn't need to trim it.
  17. Not related to this case but i just seen this on FB. Can anybody confirm or shed some light on what happened?
  18. Not worth the time and effort to strip and clean. They are disposable buy a new one.

I didn't realise it got further than mosts garbage cans and I also thought that the only reaction I would get out of it would be a mug shot of me pinned to the dartboards of all stravassholes, back brake grabbers, men in white lycra and the dizzy blonde!
