  2. I'm not convinced its real... look at the guy taking a photo at exactly 3min into the video?? looks like he's standing on the edge with no room for bike?? just look again!!

  7. You wont notice it... i didnt, i'm 176cm tall and ride 175 cranks. They came on a new road bike and i only realized a couple of weeks after i got the bike. Almost all mtb's come std 175mm cranks.
  8. Broken 5 spokes on my EA70's rear in 18 months.... and counting!!!wheels been re-built by omnico twice..

  11. Man I'v had some epic sessions behind trucks.... I acctually compare it to surfing when you get a good wave!!! I am however, quite selective about the trucks i pick.. when youv been in its slipstream for a while and the adrenaline starts wearing off, I start thinking about something lying in the road and hitting it... Then i bail out from behind the truck..
  12. Marketing hype / faster / more comfortable....... Which ever way you look at it, you might as well accept it, cause you wont be able to buy a 26" in a couple of years!!!
  13. Beer... theres a meal in every one!!
  14. Rain... rain... rain.. for the week!!! Yes, i'm from Durbs.. Its been rediculous.
  15. So Greg and tomac said 26er...... Go figure!!!
  16. It is about the bike...... Would Greg start his final run of the world champs on a cyclocross bike?
  17. Sometimes it's worth dumping dead stock even at masive losses to turn it into some cash for new orders. Prices like that have nothing to do with their cost.
  18. Tough one this???? I like Sram 2x10 and the GT name..... But i also like the Crest rims and Reba fork on the Momsen??
  19. Amazing how the really good ideas and business practice's come from privately profit driven business as apposed to government organisations ie. CSA.... why didnt CSA do this for tour of SA??? And Malema honostly believes nationalizing the mines will make everyone rich??!!!
  20. This problem i dont think is the fork...... its the brakes shuddering under heavy braking.
  21. Iv had exactly that with a brand new Fox fork. I then had it serviced locally and the guys oiled the little foams below the seals, it then worked beatifully. I then sent the fork to Omnico (cape town) for its next service and it has started that nonsence again... I dont think they come brand new with oil on that foam ring?? and the "agents" do the same when sericing?
  22. Good marketing tool if you want Chatsworth, Phoenix, and Verrulam MTB sales to improve?!
  23. I had ZTR crest rims built onto my existing hubs (same as yours, DT swiss rear and giant 15 thru axle front) and im very happy...i did this because i buckle my front wheel.
  24. Yip... not too many 29er owners rushing back to 26".... that i know of anyway!!!
  25. Thanks for the feedback... The resean for this re-spray is, i'v got new ZTR wheels and new Sram X0 / X9 2x10 groupset on my Giant XTC 29er hardtail. The frame is unfortunately pretty scratched (just surface scratches)and i want to bring it back to life to compliment the new stuff!!! Maybe, a darn good polishing would be the sensible answer?? Any tips on rubbing compounds/polishes shining out scratched on a frame??
