  1. Jenna Dewan Tatum (married to Channing Tatum), actress and professional dancer (Supergirl, Step Up, World of Dance) and Sarah Shahi, actress (used to be an NFL cheerleader), starred in Life, Person of Interest, Bullet to the Head).
  2. And a great Thursday to you, too.
  3. Lucy Liu: 5'3' of pure kick-ass hotness.
  4. Black Panther (2018) 7/10. Good movie, though not the best in the MCU, imo. Loved the Africa feel and finally getting to see Wakanda. I kept thinking: These are the guys who should be making William Gibson's Neuromancer. Strong female characters always a plus. But the story wasn't very interesting to me. I just couldn't get worked up about Killmonger and his issues. Would have like to see more of Andy Serkis.
  5. I used to eat those tangy gherkins out of the bottle. They never even made it onto the burger. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  10. That was an insane game to watch.

  12. Does anyone have any tips for making pita bread? I found this recipe that I want to try. http://www.foodlikeammausedtomakeit.info/2012/05/how-to-make-pita-bread.html#.WuBCAIhuYdU
  13. Which Masterchef? Can't stand the US one either, while the UK one is pretty bland, but the Australian version is fantastic, mainly due to the presence, charm and personality of the three main presenters.
  14. The Russo Brothers are excellent. The more I watch their Marvel movies the more impressed I am with their talent and skill, not to mention their obvious passion and love for what they are doing. The feedback for Infinity War is fantastic as well. Yebo. You don't HAVE to, but you will miss out on a lot of little details and background history that will make watching Infinity War more rewarding and entertaining. Even Jim Starlin, the creator of Thanos, said he will have to go back and watch the IW a few more times because there is so much happening.
  15. Ah, really sorry to hear, FatFossil. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  18. I got both MASH and Night Court, just for the hell of it. Haven't really been able to get into MASH, though I enjoy an episode now and again, but watching Night Court is a lot of silly, light-hearted, entertaining fun.
  19. Man, Lost in Space sucked. I'm too old to watch crap that revolves around kids, stupid people making stupid decisions, drama for no reason and one cool robot. Things I AM enjoying and looking forward to: Anime: Megalo Box is fantastic! First time in a while I'm really excited about a new anime series. Plus, it has one of the best soundtracks I've heard in a while. Also, of course, Food Wars Season 3. I don't know how they do it but each season is just as brilliant as the previous. And, I finally got caught up on Overlord Season 2. I still love it and when it's good it's great, but the pacing felt a bit off for me, especially in the first half of the season. Still a solid 8/10 from me, though, and I'm looking forward to the next season. TV series: I've got the whole new season of Bosch to look forward to. I'm saving it for a rainy, overcast, wintry day (because yes, I live in the Southern hemisphere). Bosch is wonderful but it needs to be savoured not rushed through, imo. Westworld just started and the big decision is: Watch and wait for each episode, or wait and watch a whole bunch of them at once? Into the Badlands started its new season and I can't wait to see what happens now that Lewis Tan has joined the cast. He was excellent in Iron Fist as the Drunken Master. What else? Oh, Masterchef Australia is starting soon as well as the new season of Brockmire, which hopefully will be as hilarious as the first season

  23. I got quite bored halfway through. Might be I just wasn't in the mood for it, but it didn't do much for me.
  24. I got bored by the second episode but my brother seemed to enjoy it. I'm just not into movies or series where kids have to carry a large part of the show (he says shaking a stick and yelling at the kids to get off his lawn). Thank goodness for Westworld coming out this weekend. They also changed the ending quite a bit from the book, which might add to the unsatisfied feeling at the end. I quite enjoyed it despite that, though.
  25. 12 Strong (2018). 6/10. Good story and cast let down by a mediocre script and director.
