  1. Hijack this thread, these guys should be able to advise https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/102368-table-mountain-morning-ride/
  2. Are you being serious? Talk about delusions of grandeur.
  3. What happened to your wheels, stolen or damaged?
  4. Thanks all, most certainly given me some food for thought
  5. Yeah, my boy is so fast on that JD bike that I have to be on my own bike to keep up! Keeps me fit.
  6. Naturally!
  7. Was hoping you guys and gals could help me out here. Looking to buy a bike for my 3 year old as it is next logical step up from his JD bike (bike with no pedals). He is pretty tall for his age (97cms). Do I look at a 16 inch or smaller, assume they all come with training wheels? Budget - give me some ideas!! Thanks
  8. Under no circumstances should you commute in clothing you plan to spend the rest of the day in!
  9. What's happening in Slaapies? This is crazy!!
  10. Thanks for that - awesome post!!
  11. Halo
  12. Who wouldn't be?
  13. Think it has become a little too public for them to do anything about it now as it would be somewhat obvious. Eldron - enjoyed the comment about everyone being an MMA fighter!
  14. Any news on Ike Turner? EDIT: Just seen Stringbean's post - will wait till tom for updates.
  15. PAK I would guess you are not insulin resistant/carb intolerant and therefore don't need to manage your carb intake the way someone who is resistant/intolerant would. I would chow down on carbs then but the healthy ones staying away from refined and processed foods, so go ahead and chomp those bananas, sweet potatoes etc. Disclaimer - this is the view of an extremely lay person so take it with a pinch of salt!!!
  16. Do you have a sizing chart?
  17. Topwine - I would always read your contrarian views with interest just to ensure I wasn't being consumed by the whole LCHF thing and was missing the wood for the trees. That said after your latest post I would now have to concur with 95% of the other people on this thread - you are acting like a knob. Do us all a favour and don't check in again. Thanks
  18. Korrek, cold pressed virgin - will confirm prior to ordering though. Bought a 500ml bottle from Roots and Shoots just to sample it and it's very similar to the Lifestyle brand that Dischem sells, slightly better in my view. I will do a tally of who wants what and place an order - chatted to the sales person at Crede who advised that it has a shelf life of 3 yrs. I go through 1L a month so planning on stocking up for the next year and saving myself R960. Pantry is going to be full!
  19. Cool, will drop you a pm before ordering
  20. On that note - anyone in Joeys keen to do a bulk order of Coconut Oil from Crede Oils. Great tasting and if you order 25L you get it for R80 per litre (half the price of Dischem). Postage would be R86. I am keen to order and we can split 2 or 3 ways. Other price is R99 per Litre if order 12L.
  21. Thanks! Looks as though the previous post went way over your head so going to leave it at.
  22. Don't understand how anyone can enjoy spinning classes - the class stinks and is a cesspool of sweat and bacteria. You have to adjust the bike before you get on it and there is always some over eager Lance wanna be screaming "yeah" all the time!!! See what I did there Joffter?? No-one cares that I don't like spinning classes, so there is no need for me to go and post about - I just don't spin - simple!
  23. Social outings/dinners do make it a lot more difficult. I think it is also convenient to use the "I am going with the status quo argument" as a "valid" excuse to cheat - at least I do. A little unscientific and unplanned n=1 experiment on my part. 2 weeks ago scoffed 2 little Woolies burgers (those bite sized ones) at a picnic and 5 mins later had a horrid post nasal drip and sore throat. Assumed I was catching something from one of the kids. A week later I scoffed half a boerie role at a braai and exact same thing!
  24. Looking forward to hitting the Spruit this weekend, with one less pessimist on it - awesome!
