    MTB girls

If I ever saw that riding past me I could retire from cycling a happy man
  2. Maybe in Newcastle but nowehere else!!
  3. Just saw this now - payment made. Happy cycling ScottC-M!
  4. Any idea as to the shelf life of coconut oil - don't want to go and buy bulk and have it go off?
  5. Happened to me at exactly the same spot, managed to apply the brakes in time though and lightly nudged the bakkie's bonnet. That's why I stay off Bryanston and go down that road running parallel. Who was to blame can get very messy. I am merely playing devils advocate here but were you slotted in behind a car as you would have been had you been in a car yourself - if so you have a case. However if you were travelling past the cars on the left he would argue that you are to blame i.e. if the car in front of you stops you must stop, not go round it on the left hand side. Insurance Co will no doubt argue contributory negligence - was the car damaged i.e. any dents. If so he may counterclaim!
  6. Have to agree with the above, both caps on backwards, dirt on both riders right arms, raining but the hair is dry - very poserish (is that a word?). Scene created IMHO.
  7. Have a feeling it was in the Bel Airs Shopping Centre - did a quick Google search and it appears to have closed down, or is not very well marketed!
  8. Went to a shop all the way up Witkoppen (Dome side) that stocked them - will try and find the name.
  9. I just find that some of the food on the database does not tie up with the labels I have on my foods so prefer inputting my own info. Although based on that Woolies Mackerel nutrition content the database may be more accurate!
  10. Thanks guys, did a double check and I assumed that when clicking on metric ie. cms and kgs instead of inches and pounds it would include KJ as opossed to Cal - clearly it does not.
  11. HMT (and any other myfitnesspal users out there) I need your help! It looks as though you have managed to dial in your KJ vs Cal settings on myfitnesspal. I have gone to settings and changed mine to reflect KJ but whenever I want to add a new food it only allows me to input Calories. Is there any way to change that so when inputting a new food it comes up as KJ and not Cal? Or do you simply do the conversion and input the KJ value when it requests Cals? Hope this ramble makes sense.
  12. Bit off topic - was reading the old thread today and was wondering what ever happened to DaleE?
  13. Let's try again Beautiful part of the world! My brother is doing the Haute Route Alps and probably disagrees at this precise moment in time!
  14. Thanks for this tombeej - my 2.5 year old eats Cerelac - no longer! Assume that applies to maize variant only and not the rice?
  15. Put one roadie on an MTB bike and one MTbiker on a road bike - that would give a good indication
  16. Let's see if these work http://newswall.co.za/news/latest/business-day/cholesterol-lowering-drug-may-have-a-dark-side/aat5k.221110 http://www.bdlive.co.za/life/health/2013/08/13/cholesterol-lowering-drug-may-have-a-dark-side
  17. Tweet by Prof Noakes that I thought a few on this thread would find interesting. Do cholesterol-lowering drugs have a dark side http://m.bdlive.co.za/life/health/?articleId=263472
  18. Watermelon - that is an extremely disturbing avatar!
  19. Sure it's not one of your mates pulling a fast one on you?
  20. Would this include my much loved pork crackling chips? I think I know the answer!
  21. Same here - keep "normal" fresh cream for coffee and some dbl thick for my strawberries!
  22. Glad to hear cos I love my cream!
  23. Does the same apply to cream i.e. normal cream bought at PnP or double thick Ayeshire cream from Woolies i.e. not the fresh from the farm stuff that Htone gets his hands on.
  24. Groupon having a special on Espresso Coffee Maker - 50% off apparently
