Man, this bust has really showed some of the pro's / industry players's true colours(for both sides of the coin I might add). From current pro's, magazines, journos, retailers, event organizers, product agents.
can't agree more....the term pro only refers to them earning their bread from the sport, nothing about how they go about it. Just read that lanceball post...big up DL. You can hold your head high and be proud of your achievements. To the dopers...every drop of sweat or minute on the bike was for nada. Your results are cheaper than the bag of lays I just inhaled. Sies man....
Your strength is your weakness....sure its nice and pretty to have a linkage design that nasa engineer did...maintaining it well that is when the "poppe dans" so to speak.

I also see Joberg2C has announced they will ban dopers from their event following in the footsteps of the Epic...wonder if this applies by Berg&Bush and Sani2c as well by association.... Well done the farmers and wappo...great stuff, we don't want to see these okes on the podiums again, they make your race's results cheap. I hope fritz is taking note and enforce the same in his races. NOBODY wants to see an ex-doper in the mix.
thanks for the link... I think Ryan's summary is spot on. There is compromise with the bike...even if you build it with top spec component. It will never hang with marathon bikes on the ups nevermind the flats. But what you give up you get back with compound interest on the downs and singletrack.
Like this....you don't want for anything, and thank goodness since if I still had an itch, I wouldn't have been able scratch it thanks to our dear mr president.
Eish slow one, look it's not impossible it just won't be ideal lol. It's not a marathon bike it plays better with endure / am rides and events. Suppose you can also do an endure event with a marathon bike...just won't be ideal
Also I think he everything to loose by not contesting it...I mean his reputation will be in sy glory in. His reputation I am sure is used as a marketing tool for his business.
