  2. whahahahha Like dr phil would say...dont be P3$@ odinson, be lekker.
  3. lol...mr bumpy bumper seriously de moer in now...
  4. yea....The first enduro race me and mate did there we rode most of the SP's blind..(we were luigat on the saturday practise)...anyhow, you know how it is...race day, eye of the tiger and rode well beyond our talent..this is where I saw the value of that fork. Forgiving comes to mind
  5. lol check my response ito hakahana.... dropper and pike is a must there....hell it makes the riding lekker.. Also tough tires....sharp klippe will destroy XC tyres.
  6. nice, the pike is just gives you a nice safety blanket....especiially if you riding stuff blind. case and point is that dvd drop at hakahana...i mean its not a huge drop by any means but if you ride it blind expecting a slope and you have weighted your front and there is no slope....oh nelly Thanks goodness for the pike i say
  7. Cant tell you how many time that piece of kit has saved my ringpiece from netcare in the last two months...BRILLIANT FORK
  8. pfffft. what a crap ugly bike, probably weighs a ton too....and well it has horrible brake jack.... Magic trifecta of getting rid of it... jules will give you a streetwise two and a quart to take it off your hands...lets do the right thing here
  9. same here, hence the yeti vote.... Go on my son!!!!
  10. I think the correct term for a hexagon fight is engage
  11. huh, no jets to cool...just interested You cannot deny the pyga's versatility though....if best is that well then its the winner. The mercer is pretty though, if it was a beauty contest and all that. I voted yeti btw.
  12. Daddy needs a new pair of shoes and by shoes daddy means a yeti
  13. sure...there will be better ways to drop that kinda cash on a 9k bike however Its probably the best upgrade the middle of the road bikes can do, and its not about weight believe it or not. Those I9 hubs are machines wrt durability..can take a proper beating and they look moer sexy. The rims are extremely stiff so it will actually make you ride better and more precise. Given the cost, would I upgrade my groupset to top 1x11 or stick with my 2x10 and go with these wheels Easy choice, wheels everyday of the week
  14. you want to go halvies on a divorce lawyer.... The yeti Sb-6c with the loaded wheels....the is a divorce in motion I tell you
  15. Stopped by these lads at cyclefair. Two things immediately come to mind....quality and strength. As others have said, this isn't sweatshop carbon, their build kits are also not skimped on...Tune for the snakes and I9 for longevity. If i had 20k for a set, I would buy in a heartbeat.
  16. Ja nic, its a effup.... That is where being big is your strength, you have more clout when it comes to dealing with oem stuff with sram, shimano etc etc...That cost saving is then passed down to the consumer...
  17. been to a demo day....but thanks for the offer.
  18. explain actually nevermind...
  19. You make a very good point... Sure Pyga is a small operation somewhere in howick(flippen hipster jol )...but your weakness is sometimes your strength. They have a presence at all the big stage races in SA...Patrick himself wrenching and helping out, should you run into issues, the man is there ready to help out or give advice...do the big brands have this...NO You can speak directly to the guy that designed your frame, ask about potential kit and how it will work with your frame....do the big brands offer this service...NO Their bikes are designed for SA...now this might not sound like a biggie but consider this, you will probably do all of your riding in your lifetime here in SA, why not buy a bike that was designed for our specific and quite unique mtb culture.... Now when it comes to warranties, who would you like to deal with, the guy that put his name on the frame or a rep/agent.... Being small means you are agile, agile when it comes to all of the above.. And then lastly and this is very IMPORTANT, their videos are cool Being small is good in this case, and one of the reasons I bought one.
  20. Liewe aarde....man van staal is that you
  21. Ag lekker man, hoe lyk dinge in specialbos vandag... Maybe I am not understanding your statement...so which one is the bad apple, the local entrepreneur part or the taiwan part?
