Chinaside..........Flyxii bikes, http://flyxii.com/products.asp

Was my first venture into the China market but all went well, very well!

Did you comment in the china carbon thread as well, especially as some had concerns over Flyxii

Ok, just noted that you had posted in that thread too :whistling:

I've tried Mary's and after a lot of riding gone back to straight bars, works great for me.

Mary's are a bit extreme but ya, ride what works for you! I loved my Fleegle's when I still had my Inbred....I miss that bike!

I'd like to paint this frame matte black but am concerned about whether it would need a matte clear coat to protect the paintwork, which I don't seem to be able to get locally. Has anyone been through this ?

You can convert clearcoat to matte using a flattening agent, which you add to the clearcoat before painting - available from most automotive paint suppliers.

This also is available for non- basecoat/clearcoat automotive paints.

Wolf Components Chain ring, Thanks Janos

She's a beauty, must be light too, you have some top kit on there.

Took a chance and all went well. They do have PayPal so felt fairly confident.

My single speed.

Tried to convert as cheap as possible - spacers, 18t sprocket, tensioner and 8speed chain worked out ± R530.

Used existing 32 middle chain ring.

Enjoying every minute on the bike except the real steep stuff, still need to strengthen the legs a bit

:-)

More

I have tried using the same tensioner ,but the chain ,if it is a SS spesific like yours that is thicker ,gets caught on the gaurd .Have gone back to Da Bomb tensioner.Or you can remove it like in the pic of Neill71 bike
