I ordered from Superstar Components (Also UK based) early December and also had to wait around 6 weeks .... seems the postal system is under lots of pressure over that time period.

Nevermind the time of year, it's just how our postal, service rolls. Quick to get to the country, slow to move within the borders...

If I recall correctly the postal workers went on an unprotected strike in Jan as well. Goodluck guys, hope you all get your goods soon!

I am in need of Randelas so I can buy couple of essentials.

It's gonna take a couple of Months, unless I hit 6 numbers or That bankjob I am planning runs smoothly.

Hopefully I get my affairs in order before Delta Dash.

Dude, what are you in need of to get this thing built?

Posted

I need lots Nick.

Fork

Seatpost

BB

Crank

Handlebars

Stem

Tyres (have a set of wheels)

Front Chainring (34 probably, I have an 18 and 17 WB sprocket from Rapide)

Rotors (have a set of avid )

Like I said, this supposed to be a longterm project, Delta just kinda threw a spanner in the works in terms of timing

Don't you have and old bike to strip

Oh ... if the goods go missing in the post then you should rather give up on the postal system, not the guys who gave them the goods....

I meant I was giving up on them i.e. the chaintugs ever arriving with our lovely postal system. I managed to get some this morning from Hunter cycles, fairly pricey but should do the job.

Nope, my son inherits it.

and.... the components are really naff. Faded handlebar anodizing (black bars are now changing into a terrible bronze purple-ish mess. ) The bars are also very narrow, a la old school XC. Stem is too long, becuase the frame is to small...

Seatpost wrong size., the list goes on...

Yeti, please could you PM me .. hboli ... I am badgering them RE a few items.

Thanks Hairy, got an email to say that the tugs are on their way but we know what happened last time :whistling:

Why dont you post the specs of the bits you need and lets see what we can get together. Lots of guys have brand new parts stripped off new bikes lying around
