Ja.....I watched a 60s race on Youtube. A guy's car crashed and was burning. Marshalls on the opposite side of the track with hoses. Race carried on and the cars were just passing through the jet of water.

Sad story. Cant say its surprising though.

 

Lots of rumours around mercedes too at the minute. Having been to all their F1 team sites here in the UK its a massive operation.

I watched it here and there just because there was not much else on and I was still keen to watch. But It was just weird. I must say it looked real, at times I could not tell it was "fake".

Judging by the look on Rebecca-the-flowergirls face at about 5:19 I think it's fair to say that there is a fair amount of vibration from the V8 which finds its way into the seats.....

Are there official top speeds for F1 at Mugello though? It's never held a race, and from what I could find only Ferrari test there.

 

Mugello is such a beautiful flowing layout though, I can't even imagine the forces the drivers must go through in all the combination esses. And then up through Arrabiata 1 and 2. It's gonna be glorious!
