Had a look at the new single track this morning and unfortunately we won't be able to open it for riding tomorrow.  The unexpected rain yesterday (Friday) caused the track to be too wet in certain areas as it is not compacted yet - if we allow riding now it will cause tyre ruts that will harden with expected warm weather over the next few days.  We need to get the balance correct between too wet and too dry. We will evaluate the situation again tomorrow.

For those who have figured out where the new single track is, please do not ride it until further notice.

We have routed a new link to the yellow loop from Devon Valley Rd which is open for riding. This will make more sense once the new yellow singletrack opens in a few days but was also done to avoid passing workers cottages with the odd dog lurking.

Thanks for all the hard work and effort. I stay not too far away (can always lend a spade if needed!) and would like to say a BEEEEEEEG thank you to everyone involved. What a blast riding the trails - even more so when you can pedal from your house.

Trails are well maintained and the builds have a lot of flow with "natural" lines. Well done.

New yellow route will be open for riding as from tomorrow (Wednesday) - see attached map.  To get to the new single track from the red route, look out for the route split sign about 500 meters after you have done the single track section over the open field.  From Devon Valley road and Asara / Overgaauw, just follow the yellow route signs and you will get to the new single track sections.

Rode the new single track on yellow today - nice!

Needs some more wheels over it to compact the trail, so go try it out.

But don't be fooled - it is not all downhill. Gives a good workout if ridden hard!

I have to commend the guys who have put in all the effort and hard work on the trails. Haven't ridden there for a while due to injury. Awesome new single track.

Awesome, keen to check this out - have neglected old yellow route for a while now and skipped over to Overguaaw entrance to get straight up to red..

If not there tomorrow, will be Sunday.
