I was told by a friend working on the Shimano stand that the bikes/frames on display were prep'd simply to demonstrate the new Shimano groupsets. He said they were painted up Monocq frames though.

Yes did see those but the Niner frames were not build up. Not even forks were attached.

Got to see BOGGEROL, as they started breaking the stands down at 15h20 on Sat. (see my rant elswhere)

At least got to meet ShaunH. Would have loved to meet Joss.

 

Solomons made a killing at the end, as there were people with money to spend and nowhere to spend it at after the other stands were not doing business anymore, and Solomons were open to 16h00.

Yip, those custome painted Cervelo's took the show for me.................They had a set of HED 50mm Deep section wheels that I'm sure where custom painted in white.............looked ultra porn.

 

Shimano had there 2008 wheels out......and I know where I'm going to spend my money for a set of full carbon wheels....the new Dura Ace 35mm carbon wheel.......

 

Easton alos has a similar wheel on the market not thin it's called the EC90...........FREAKING Nice wheel only weighing 1,1kg

IMHO Solomon's are a bunch of THIEVES!!! A while back I was looking for an Ultegra cassette and phoned around. Solomon's was the cheapest so I bought it. Never got around to fitting the cassette for a few months. When I got around to doing it I opened the package (Solomons "wrapping") to find that it is a Tiagra cassette. I obviously was very upset but since it was a couple of months later they were not interested in sorting the matter out at all. My opinion: Do not buy from them.
