26er Losing All Value

Well if you look at the classifieds i think this point has merit. There are amazing deals on 26 in bikes that were not around a year ago. You can now pick up a good quality 1 or 2 year old FS 26er for 12k. These are bikes that retailed for 22k now cant be given away.

So if u in the mkt for a 26er now is a great time. In 2 years time when the 27,5 becomes the rage 29ers will be going cheap...

29ers are flavour of the month and with all the hype the sales are spiking around that, so 26ers aren't pushed as much.

Evetually it'll all level out though.

No doubt there are merits to the bigger wheel size and with newer models the geometry is adapting. Seriously doubt that 26ers will die though, it comes down to a number of factors, or combination thereof. Trail conditions and what people are comfortable with.

It's about the riding, don't let the tech obsession take over the reason for why you ride.

KEEP YOUR 26ERS.

In a few years time the 26er retro craze will kick in and then everyone will want one.

What's this 29er people keep referring to?

Does it have anything to do with the porn industry?

You need to add 40 for that

I am willing to give an ultra slow outdated Cannondale Flash or Scalpel 26er a good home.
