I'm calling bullsh1t on the local beer pricing. no way 500ml is ~R14 retail, you can get a quart for under ten bucks if you live in a dodgey enough hood. and we're DEFINITELY about 40% cheaper than US beer.(this is from anecdotal evidence gained doing a ski season in colorado)

A quart of Guiness is eleven bucks at Tops. Bought 3 on Saturday. Cheaper than coke.

Cool. Love Guinness, and have an especially soft spot for the Foreign Extra Stout from Nigeria. It's 7%!

Did he get it back, the speargun?

Wonder how that will effect the shark?

nah dont think he did.

another friend of mine lost his carbon spear gun a few years back on a dive, few months later he spotted something on the reef swam down and it was his gun... a bit of a clean up and its good as new.

video from a friend of mine while spear fishing

Hmm, it looks like they were going out through the Umkomaas river mouth so on the Aliwal shoal I expect.?

Hard to see what shark it was as its a bit far off but if it was on the shoal I would say its most likely a Zambezi, although to be honest, from the top, it looked like it could also be a plain old Raggie.

Cant understand why he didnt release his gun and attach the leader to his float as is customary, (although I dont see a float in the video so maybe he didnt use one) which under the circumstances was silly, then he wouldn't have lost his gun.

.....had to watch it in silent mode though, that music ................. -
