Those are the best? That's pretty sad, most of those were not very good...

I was commenting on their audacity to name the video "Best Pranks" - though I did quite like the snowman one;)

April Fools facts (or lies)

Before the adoption of the Gregorian calendar, New Year’s used to be celebrated on April 1st. When that changed, some people kept celebrating it on the old timing so others called them fools and played tricks on them.

In France, Italy, Belgium, and French-speaking areas of Switzerland and Canada, it’s called “Poisson d’Avril”, which literally means “April’s fish” because kids celebrate this day by sticking fish made of paper  to each other’s backs. When someone discovers the fish, the person who put it there, aka the prankster, shouts “Poisson d’Avril.”

The origin of the “kick me” sign has supposedly originated from Scotland where April’s Fool is celebrated for 2 days.

In Canada and England, it’s celebrated during the morning time of April 1. If someone keeps doing it after midday is considered the fool themselves.

In Norway, Denmark and Sweden, the day is celebrated on a country level. Medias may publish one false story, which, for newspapers, will be a front page article but not the top headline.

In Poland, April’s Fool is day for pranks, jokes and hoaxes; nothing is taken seriously to the extent that a treatise once signed on April 1 was backdated to March 30 for credibility.
