I have a survey tripod that can be adapted?Hi HI used a Vangaurd Alta Pro, a standard tripod to be used with a zoom lens.I only extend the legs 1 notch and bend too look through the viewfinder..It's a very tricky process, getting the correct light reading, then composing and then what I do I set the shutter delay to 10 seconds so the camera can settle down, from there I gently have my hand on the zoom ring and the minute the shutter goes, I start zooming out.
