Sounds like a recipe for chaos.  Not at all I have done this race the last 2 years both times it was well organised and well marked. Its a flat and fast route last year the quarry added a bit of a variation but even the year befor it was good fun. There is not a big field and no congestion so if you want to go have fun crank the big ring for 2 hours this is the race to do
