Oe ja, here is the pic: ^_^

Raleigh is like a good ol' Toyota. Reliable. Affordable. Solid.

I really like that frame but you didn't want to sell me yours :D

I have a RC 3000.Blue one. 2006?

No problems with it.If the frame is made ok, surely its down to the specs in a certain price range.

I get the feeling that some animosity towards the brand comes from the bike shops.(Chris Willemse's post, and the owner of my LBS pulling his face at the brand)

Was the return for stocking them too small?Or problems from Raleigh management side.

Anyway I'm hanging on to mine ,it may become a keepsake.

You need not worry,Raleigh UK will honour warranty claims.

Raleigh South Africa will continue to honour all warranties on Raleigh products as it has done for the past 75 years in South Africa. For immediate Raleigh South Africa requirements and queries, contact Stewart Miller on +27718644645.

Absolutely, although I think Raleigh/Nomad catered to an ever lower price point. Not sure if Momsen does a bike at around 2/3k?

Could well be wrong though.

Either way, I like it that the guys also look at the lower (for lack of a better phrase) end of the market and cater for commuters, joe/jane soap and those just getting into the sport on a tight budget.

Momsen supplies some frames in that 2/3k range, but not full size bikes (for adults)

SERFAS does have a few in that price range though...
