iPod / iTunes advice please...

Hi guys,

 

Can anyone tell me how to copy songs that are on my iPod onto my PC? I want to remove some songs that I got from one of my friends from my iPod, but I still want to back them up on my PC. I'm battling a bit with iTunes. Please help

you cant copy from ipod back to PC with iTunes

You can however find free software to do it and I think ipod explorer is one of them try google it or go to www.ipodlounge.com and you will find something there

You can go open up the "flash disk" in your explorer and just copy the files from there.

 

But if I remember correctly it is all messed up and deurmekaar.

But at least you have the music!

While you're at it, uninstall iTunes and download vPod. You can thank me later!

Tried this already but you can't see the music files that way - Only the notes, calender and contacts.

 

Will try the other programs though - Thanks for the advice guys.

It's a little freeware app that's only used to copy/remove music on your iPod. Easy to use, and it doesn't take over your whole system. I see they updated the site to say that it doesn't work if you've used your iPod with iTunes 7.3

Bummer, it doesn't want to work with mine - Says my iPod is using software it doesn't recognise.
