How are they a guard dogs?Let me put it to you this way. I was staying in Pinetown at the time and we lived in a house with fairly average burglar bars. I woke one morning to hear my sister scream with a african vaselined up sliding through the burglars. Opening my bedroom door and the dog went nuts on him. Good few chunks of flesh were missing from him. The minute the little fellow was off our property she turned around and came back as if nothing had happened. And to say that they get grumpy as they get older. I think its important that they are treated as elderly dogs. They are no more grumpy than any other breed. German Shepards are also known to get grumpy. Treat them like old dogs and they will be fine. you cant expect a 10 year old dog to be fine with your toddler pulling hair and jumping on them all the time. Captain Fastbastard Mayhem 1

Wannabe Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 My Pekingese bitch girl (how can I call my baby that ) will be going in to be sterilised next Friday 13 June 2014. At least she will be at home with us over the long weekend to recuperate.
