Hi daar ons het 2 wyfie husky's om WEG TE GEE vir mense wat mooi na hulle sal kan kyk en baie liefde en aandag kan gee... Ons is nie meer baie by die huis nie en kan nie meer die liefde een aandag gee wat hulle soek nie... Oms is in sundra as enige iemand hulle wil kom haal 013 661 5093

 

Stuff like this makes my blood boil. :cursing: Assuming that these people are "educated" adults who knows that buying a puppy is a long term commitment? Makes me sick how people can give their pets away as if it is a old couch they dont want anymore. I'm very tempted in commenting but don't think it will do any good.

Or it could be the hardest decision they have ever had to make but took the dogs needs into account!!!

Look at it this way Wil, at least they have realised that they cannot give the dogs the attention they need. Hopefully they'll go to a good home.

that's true - there's 2 sides - there are people that treat pets as throwaway - I stopped being friends with someone that told me if his dog's medical bills came to more than R200 he'd rather just put the dog down.

 

On the other hand, like you say, sometimes it's very hard. There was a guy who lost his job and I remember he asked the Husky Sanctuary to look after his husky until he could find his feet again - and he did - and he went back for his friend.

Maybe I was too quick too judge, but still if you see how many animals are in shelters and are being euthanized every day, the problem is increasing "en mense leer nie hulle les nie"

i do agree with you there. But after I had to find my best friend a home because of my change in circumstances I have learned not to judge too quickly.

The old dog Rocky was a rescue dog from Friends of Rottweiler rescue South Africa, he only gets along with the young female so we had to shoot them separately.
