Can you believe that it is nearly a year since we found Emily in such a shocking state. Here are some recent pics of her waiting for food in the kitchen and then trying to entice the birds to come down out of the trees to play with her.

what a beauty she is and kudos to you for giving her a warm home

those picture from last year are heartbreaking

Been almost a year since I found this guy, he really has grown from been frightened and mistrusting of humans into a  confident and sociable dog.

gorgeous eyes!

One of my cats is a stray cat, started coming to our house when we moved in 9 years ago.

It took me months before she would let me near to touch her. After 2 years (!) she started wandering into the house when we left the back door open, but hurried out again as soon as we came near. Next phase: sneaking onto the couch, but again, only when we were not near.

And now, this is the first winter after 9 years!!, she cuddles up next to me, with her paws on my arm, and when she wants attention, she stretches out her paw to my face, she's so cute!

Hunting moles?

No, not really any moles around our house, I usually take them for a long run on Sunday afternoons, but skipped it this past weekend due to rain.  So I assume they had too much energy and too little stimulation, so they took it out on the lawn.
