Hectic news Wayne! Haven't been following the other thread - what a decision to make. How long until u go? If u struggle to home Olaf then look me up - i won't take another dog due to work but I have 2 cats who want for nothing in my house. Don't know what your timeframe is but Chances are u will find him a home up country and closer but if u get stuck I will take him in a heart beat [emoji6]

Ok, so we are immigrating (some of you may know from the get out of here thread)

I need to find loving homes for my furry children.

I am heartbroken about this, but i simply dont think it fair to export them and quarantine them for so long. Plus, we have no idea on what size property we will end up taking and this worries me.

I am truly devastated by this. I cannot give a damn about leaving my stuff behind no leaving family(dont tell them) but i am really worried about my doggies and cat.

I have 3 boxers - Tyson 2 year old trained and fixed male

Layla (18 month old spayed female)

Scar (layla and tysons son - he was the one that i had the leg fixed due to the car accident - 100% healthy)

and Olaf - 6 month old siamese kitten that behaves like hitler occasionally.

Then there is Rolo...a 10 year old female english bulldog. She was our first born. All she does is sleep inside at night and snore and fart like i do.

Any suggestions?

Who still needs a home, Wayne?

Some friends of mine have just moved to New Zealand and decided to leave their pets behind.I took their cats...

The quarantine period is now very short. The cost is heavy tho

Also not following that thread. Not judging but merely thinking out load. If the opportunity arises, I would not think twice in immigrating to another country.

But on the other hand I will not be able to leave my 4 dogs behind. They are part of my family. Man Im glad I'm not in your shoes. Good luck Wayne.

Read through that thread when it just about started. Talk about doom and gloom!!!!

Yes things arent all moonshine and roses but also not nearly so bad as some make it out to be.

I agree on the pet thing though, would never move without my pets but also a crappy situation with the cost of quarantining them. Would probably scar them irreparably.

Good luck with the move Wayne.

I had to go to Copenhagen for work two weeks ago, and took a photo of this guy at a traffic light. Apparently it is quite common for dog owners there to ride with their dogs in the front of a bicycle like that.

Off topic>> That place is extremely cyclist friendly << Off Topic

Edit: It is a Boxer in the front of the bike.

all of them. :(

Wayne, you can join "English & French Bulldog Rescue" on FB or "English Bulldogs in South Africa"

Just send them a request & admin will add you - your girl will find a home in NO TIME - these people are crazy about them & they are subjected to very strict home checks & hectic application process. If we dont come right with that, my mom will take her - but that will involve a stressful flight down to PE.

I am so sure there is also a Boxer Rescue FB page where we could find the others a great home too.

If you wanna Whats App me a pic of them I can also post on our area FB page.

Dont worry - we will find them all great homes :)
