We have 2 jack russells (cross a bit of pavement) - Nugget managed to catch a rat again yesterday, think we're going to rename her "The Exterminator"

Good grief, that thing is the size of a bloody cat

Of course like all young ones she is always up to some mischief.

Kath left her in the bedroom while she went out on a short errand and arrived home to this mess.

Marsie was not there to welcome Kathy, but was soon discovered hiding under the bed with "Guilty" written all over here face.

It has been 6 weeks since I found Marsie in Roodeval Forest plantation and she has grown somewhat.

The first picture is when she arrived home in the boot of the car covered in 1000's of ticks.

The second is Marsie this week.

Look how gorgeous she is looking!! Filled out and all clean and sparkly!! Well done!! Hugs to her please!

Cant I babysit Junior????

Our neighbor at work used to have a rescue meerkat - and it would escape and come over to our offices. I'd be sitting at my desk when suddenly I get a great big hug from a furry smelly meerkat around my ankles. Being humped by a meerkat is not an experience I'm too keen to go through again.

 But I would still like to babysit..... or have one that's been rescued or needs to be rescued.... got the ideal set up at home to rehabilitate. I actually think we have a family in the game camp! They are SUCH characters.....!!

they are cute but it's sad when they're on their own cause they are very much a strong family centered animal.

Maybe spring is in the air with the "postal issues"... because the last two evenings I spent cleaning up old bills and all kinds of papers we've kept. Kahlua chewed on and ripped off metal gauze from a door and proceeded to munch the paperwork inside. Our braai room looked exactly like that!

And very proud at that... you could see her beaming proudly when I walked in - I HUNTED THAT! Thooose thingies won't be bothering you any more...
