Of course it was also combined with a change in tyre choice from 2.1 to 2.25. Running low pressure on wide tubeless tyres has to be experienced to be really appreciated. Tubeless-able? Oh - and XC bike is normally 30 at the rear. At the front, I've got a piddly little 1.95 tubed tyre for now, until I get my rim fixed (using my wife's wheel) and that has to be super hard as it has NO volume... Yeah, it's been done.
