I know we laugh about the 2 week english summer, but not a single one!

the only no result was Zim vs NZ

http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8039/scorecard/65225/new-zealand-vs-zimbabwe-3rd-super-icc-world-cup-1999

it rained.

bad light stopped play

reserve day was washed out.

in the June 2017 champions trophy

15 games

2 no result

3 DLS

Thanks, that is very interesting.

I remember reading or hearing somewhere that these group stage games have no reserve days. So NR's become more likely. Time will tell.

"AB de Villiers has been part of trophy winning Titans teams in South Africa, but there’s a strong argument and evidence, that his role or presence has not been central to those successes. Rather Henry Davids, Albie Morkel and Farhaan Behardien have been the major performers for what has been the most consistent franchise in SA. Heck, of late Aiden Markram has made a bigger impact in finals for the Titans than De Villiers ever did."

Even though I have also lost a little bit of respect for him, this article is a bit harsh on AB in my opinion. There are 11 players in a team, 1 guy on his own cannot win trophies. According to this article he averages 63.5 in world cups, that pretty damn good!

most of the significant contributions in domestic cricket come from players outside of the core proteas group.

I'm not sure if the stats would show that he's a flat track bully who doesn't perform on the biggest stage, BUT the semi vs NZ in 2015 he came in at 114/3 with 17 of the 43 overs left.

he scored 65* off 45 and with Miller (49 off 18) scored at just less than 10rpo to the close.

On the up side, our chances of earning our first log point have just gone up significantly.... Rain has started to fall and the players have left the field....

clutching at straws there, would rather we get a game and chance of winning properly!

easy to forget that WIndies needed to qualify in the zim tournament just to get here!

Sorry, forgot the Comic Sans font...

We need every win we can from here going forward, should have gotten the NR points in the India and England games...

Agree wrt Amla. He WAS a phenomenal batsman in his time, unfortunately he is now just a liability. He can't field for sh*t either. Problem is, the only other batsman we have in the squad is..? Duminy? That's going from bad to worse! Reeza Handricks should've been there in either Amla or Duminy's place.

I feel for Markram. He's in and out the squad and probably doesn't know if he's coming or going. Getting out to a bad delivery today is so frustrating
