What does your AM/Trail rig weigh?

Ok I'm not a race snake or a weight weenie, but I was curious, so I put my bike (commencal meta 5.5) on the scale at the LBS - 15.4kg!

What does your trail / all-mountain sled weigh in at?

Specs wise, the 15.4kg is made up of Alex SupraBH rims, 2.4 / 2.35 tyres, Rock Shox Sektor Coil U-turn with 15mm Maxle and Monarch RT3 high volume, Truvativ Boobars, DMR pedals, Truvativ Stylo cranks, X7 shifters / deraillers, Juicy 5 brakes

So I take it 15.4 is on the porky side. I guess there's no budget method for saving weight? (unless I go on a diet)

GEEZ, that number always gets me!

Careful you don't hit Namibia or Mozambique when turning!!

I've got boobars. I cut them to 760. I just couldn't do 780.

If you change to an air fork you'll cut a fair amount of weight. Might not be too expensive second hand. You can run single ply tyres if you're not already doing so.

Trance X in Trail mode weighs 14kg with big tyres, slime tubes, pump, saddlebag full of spares & tools. Would be about 12kg in XC/marathon mode without all the heavy stuff and with racing tyres on.
