Some of these watches are absolutely stunning!!! That Tudor with the leather strap will probably make me sell most of my limbs/organs (with the exclusion of an arm) to have it!

If all goes well I'll be the new owner of this beauty within the next few weeks:

As a side note, I have zero insurance at the moment, (my car and household items are all on the family's insurance). Can anyone suggest an insurance company that will cover theft from home and off my person? If they do cover any damage that will be ideal but not a deal breaker.

You have good taste

When my Father passed away, my Mom gave me his Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch edition)

It was originally purchased in the early 70's while on business in Switzerland and worn as a daily watch for the better part of 40 years. During that time it took it's fair share of abuse as he was a tradesman and an avid vintage car and motorcycle restorer in his spare time.

It sat in the safe for a few years (Wouldn't keep time and would stop working) until my 40th came around. People asked me what I wanted and I said I would like it serviced so that I could wear it again.

I sent it in for a service with Beverly Jewellers Pavillion who sent it to JHB for a service. The bad news was that the mechanism was beyond service/repair and they recommended replacement. Figured while they were replacing the mechanism they might as well replace the strap (worn), glass (scratched), bezel (Scratched) and face (the luminescent markers had stopped glowing). Ended up getting it completely refurbished and it came back as new.

Very happy with the result and it is now my "Smart Watch". It may not be the original watch that my Dad bought (technically speaking) but it still has sentimental value and is a restart of a legacy that will be handed to my eldest son when I die for him to hand to his eldest etc.

What would be a fair market price for the Tag Heuer Quartz Formula 1 ?

Purchased 10-02-2012

In excellent condition.

Original packaging and warrantee card for authenticity available.

 The IWatch is very demanding !

Whats the model no?

The battery has just run flat in the last week. Needs replacing so from experience I would say 12 to 18 months ago. The watch itself is shown off very infrequently.

The Model Number is : CAH1112

Have these 2 up for sale and thought I would post them here. Both used but in good condition. Both have new batteries and I replaced the glass on both too. The Grandeurs was done just last week.
