for god sakes, how hard is it to get the spelling of BRAKES right?!?!?!

i'm going to flip if i have to see one more post where the person is selling, tuning, setting up, or running in his;

breaks - https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/18491-giant-nrs2-185-inch/

breakes - https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/111673-disc-breakes-issues/page__pid__1561775#entry1561775

heck, my 1st language isn't even english and even I know how to spell it!!

to BRAKE = to stop

to Break = is to render something unusable, ie. when your gardener looks at the lawnmower and says; eish, she's broken!

KNOW the difference fools!!! :angry:

The Hub has made me worse at language. Just one example, these days I have to think twice about the difference between road and rode. Never used to be like that blink.gif

Uh, chap, whilst I could not agree with you more I have to say that I have seen some people, whose first language is English, spell it thus: engrish.

When it comes to brakes, the spelling breaks can be used when describing anything with Avid in in.

same with THERE and THEIR

If you spell brakes by using breaks, it should be preceded by "can like to"

as in "I can like to use my breaks" shows the Dufus you really are

My favourite is Suit and Suite

Suit = It suits me or I am wearing a safari suit

Suite = Bathroom suite or lounge suite (Prononouced sweet)

It would suite me if I had XT breaks - :huh:

Agreed, but then you drop a few clangers yourself - it's "For God's sake..." Also try some capitalisation.
