People see the "snake", slow down to look, and speed is thus reduced before coming to road junction.ps. Did not go into link, read it following a few mails claiming the snake to have been spotted in Bloem, then Thabazimbi, then Zim, then wherever.

Seems quite a clever tactic I would say, if it wouldn't get stolen in a week, it may work on some local intersections I know of as well.

My wife's good friend's husband was bitten by small black mamba in Game Farm.The snake was under his chair and he felt something funny and he put his hand under chair to feel. It bit his hand, sofamily had to take to hospital and they flew to Pretoria Hospital. He had terrible spasm for few days and they were worriedthat it might give him heart attack. But he survived.. Scary!!
